Leadership and Teamwork

Thursday 4th October 2012, Manor Hotel Newbury

What is your leadership style really like?  Are you realising your team's true potential?  Do you ever think life would be so much easier without people to manage?

This one day training course will investigate what good leadership and management look like and how they can be measured to help understand how well you perform.

The VetSupport+ team from Pfizer will share a model of leadership and management which allows you to judge you own leadership skills and those of your management team colleagues. They will also talk through practical ways of developing these skills further.

The team will bring real and hypothetical examples from their own experience of both good and bad leadership and how this can impact on everything from team moral to the bottom line.   There will also be lots of opportunities to interact and share experiences with others in vet practice management and leadership roles.

Lunch, refreshments and a CPD certificate are included.  Plus, of course, the opportunity to meet and network with colleagues.  The day will run from 10:00am to 4:00pm

By the end of your course you will:

  • Understand what good leadership looks like and how it impacts on team performance
  • Be able to measure your own performance as a leader
  • Have a model against which you can measure the performance of other leaders in your team
  • Understand how you can become a better leader
  • Be better equipped to train your own team to be better leaders

The day will start at 10:00 and finish at 4:30.

CPD certificates, lunch and refreshments are included.
