Marketing Masterclass

Wednesday 20th June 2012, Village Hotel Solihull

Contributor: Onswitch

Why would anyone choose your practice?

Do potential clients know you exist?

And do you really know your target pet owners?

This one day hands on marketing masterclass, led by Alison Lambert and the Onswitch team   will help you understand your target audience and how to reach them.  You will examine the essential practical route to marketing your own practice, with practical examples and case studies to make this session action based rather than theoretical.

Kate Semple from Ark House Vets in Bedfordshire and Darren Mackintosh from Kessock Equine Vets in Inverness will share their personal experience in a question and answer session … so good old fashioned honest feedback from two vets who understand marketing.

The best marketing plan in the world will fail if the practice team don’t deliver the everyday tasks on brand message. The team are a key part of the marketing plan and this aspect of marketing will be covered as well, with a focus on gaining customer recommendations and converting those who call to compare prices.

If you haven't yet got a marketing plan and budget, and this is part of your job description, then this is a good place to start.  You will leave with a marketing plan template that you can use when you get back to work.

At the end of the session you will have:

  • compared and contrasted good and bad marketing
  • learnt how to identify and define your existing and target audiences
  • understood what makes your practice stand out from the crowd
  • created a bespoke marketing template for your practice
  • understood the different tools in your marketing plan: press, radio, social media, literature, events etc
  • be ready to engage the different members of your practice team in delivery

The day will start at 10:00 and finish at 4:30.

Course notes, CPD certificates, lunch and refreshments are included.
