Vet XML

The Vet-XML Consortium is an industry body governed by SPVS that is defining communication standards to make it easier for the veterinary profession to communicate and exchange data.

This collaborative approach is already reaping real benefits. For instance, one of the first applications is electronic insurance claims, where communication standards:

- Reduces errors
- Frees up time
- Improves cashflow
- Reduces settlement time.

The enabling technology behind these benefits are a common data format (VetXML) and a common communications platform.

All of the popular parctice managmenet systems are now Vet XML compatible.
