Bringing pets to the UK
This site explains what
you have to do to bring your pet dog, cat or ferret into (or back
into) the UK through the Pet Travel Scheme (or PETS for short) without putting it into quarantine. It also
explains the requirements for bringing many other types of pet animals
into the UK. This site also tells you about quarantine
in the UK for animals that don't qualify for PETS. Printable factsheets are available for both vets and the public.

- Birmingham and Stansted airports have announced that they are now able to receive assistance dogs under article 8 of the non-commercial movement of pet animals (England) Regulation 2004.
- The European Commission has announced that the Republic of Croatia will now issue pet passports, and that more than five pets (with the appropriate documentation) may accompany an owner into the EU, from Croatia.
- Charter Airline Companies Air VB, Longtail Aviation, Woodgate Executive Charter, and Airlink airways have announced new routes into the UK.
- Commercial carrier FlyLAL - Lithuanian Airlines has announced new routes.
